Minnick provides services for children ages 5 to 22 and observes a 3 to 1 student/staff ratio. We serve students with these disabilities:

Multiple Disabilities
Severe Disability (MEC-Harrisonburg only)
Minnick Education Centers are licensed by the Virginia Department of Education. The Roanoke location is licensed by the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services as Day Treatment Services providers and approved by the Department of Medical Assistance Services as a Medicaid provider of Day Treatment Services. Minnick Education Centers are managed by Lutheran Family Services of VA.
